When players dive into Pokémon Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl, they may have a question in mind. Is it possible to get Arceus in games?
The answer, sadly, is no, you can't catch Arceus in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl. Despite the Sinnoh region being something of a hotbed for legendary Pokemon, you can't catch what many players consider the grandfather of all of them.
While it makes sense, as Arceus wasn't in the original Diamond and Pearl, people suspected the famous Pokémon could be added to the new version due to the fact that Pokémon Legends: Arceus was on the horizon. This isn't to obliterate the possibility of this happening, however.
A clever cross-promotion would be the arrival of Arceus in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl as a launch event for the Legends game arriving in January 2022.
Until then, there are many more Legendaries to catch, hundreds of Pokémon to track down, and all sorts of secrets to uncover in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
