Events in Pokémon Go are a fun way for trainers to catch specific Pokémon that are promoted around the world. These events are also good opportunities for Niantic developers to release Pokémon. For example, for Fashion Week 2021, Furfrou is being introduced and is releasing 10 distinct modules. These modules all have the same stats, but will look slightly different. The standard one will be the natural form of Furfrou.
You will be able to find the natural form of Furfrou all over the world. It will not be stuck in a certain region, and all trainers should have access to this Pokémon when it is released during Fashion Week. You'll be able to find it mostly in the wild, so you won't have to search for it in raids or try to narrow it down to receive it as a field research reward during its debut.
We recommend that you capture more Furfrou in its natural attitude because this will be how you will change it to its other forms. Many of the different forms of Furfrou, with the exception of the Matrona and Dandy finishes, are region specific in Pokémon Go. For example, if you wish to receive a Furfron in its Diamond finish, you will need to visit Europe, the Middle East or Africa and change your Furfron using the new shape change mechanism. It costs 25 Furfrou candies and 10.000 Stardust, as well as being in that specific region.
Due to the multiple shapes, we strongly encourage players to capture various forms of the Furfrou Normal finish and then switch to these alternate looks. Of course, you can always swap another trainer to receive the other forms of appearance.
