Prior to the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield, there was a 24-hour live stream that took place at Glimwood Tangle. Many new and old Pokémon have appeared and the biggest highlight was the Galarian Ponyta. Here's ours to catch Galarian Ponyta and evolve it into Rapidash.
Location of Ponyta
Galarian Ponyta is an exclusive Shield, so if you own a copy of Sword, you will need to trade with someone with a copy of Shield. Those with the latter version, you'll need to earn up to four badges and reach Glimwood Tangle before facing off against the Fairy-type gym leader Opal. In the luminous forest, you will find Galony Ponyta.
Since its location is in a forest, there will be no appearances in the world of any Pokémon other than Impidimp. Keep in mind that Galarian Ponyta is quite rare, so it may take a while before you can finally meet one in the wild.
How to turn him into Galarian Rapidash
Just like evolving a normal Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta must be level 40 to evolve into Galarian Rapidash. After evolving, he will get the Fairy typing.
