How to get Ho-Oh during the 2020 Johto Throwback Challenge event in Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go celebrates the last 20 years of Pokémon history with a series of Throwback Challenge 2020 events. These events focus on the game's oldest regions, respectively, the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh region of the original games. During these events, you can expect weekly rewards and special encounters, such as finding other Pokémon commonly found in those regions that roam the wild. This includes Legendary Pokémon.

Ho-Oh's quality will vary, but if you catch it, yours will know the Earthquake exclusive attack as well, along with any of his potential quick attacks.

Ho-Oh is a Fire and Flying-type Pokémon. It can reach a maximum of 3.863 CP, with an attack of 239, a defense of 244, and a stamina of 214. It is weak for Electric, Water and Rock-type moves. His best moves include steel wing and fire blast, steel wing and brave bird, extrasensory blast and fire, and hidden power and fire blast. The Johto event is the first time that Ho-Oh can learn about the earthquake, giving it even more strength and diversity than before.
