Those who have explored the Great Dungeon and used it to capture Pokémon will have the opportunity to expand their Secret Base. Your Secret Base is where you place the many Statues you collected from the Fossil Digging minigame, increasing your chances of finding specific Pokémon. In this guide, we will share with you how you can make your secret base bigger in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl.
You can do this by visiting the city with the sixth Gym Leader, Canalave City. Head there, then use the explorer kit. You will then dive into the dungeons and should be in a new area than the dungeon path in the main area.
You can find the option on a hiker who can make your secret base bigger. These are all the spheres you will need to expand it.
- 60 small red balls
- 60 small blue balls
- 60 small green balls
- 30 small prismatic spheres
- 30 small pale balls
Once all of these requirements are met, it will expand your secret base, giving you access to a larger area to place all of your statues to increase your chances of encountering rare Pokémon in the Grand Underground.
