After completing Pokémon Sword and Shield for the first time, you have the option of not seeing any of the cutscenes in the game. If you want to do that, though, you need to make sure you don't see any of the deleted scenes moving forward. This option is best for those who have already been through the game and want to start over.
To find it, access the main menu by pressing the "X" button on your switch. You should see several options in this menu and you want to go to the "Options" submenu, which is the bottom right choice.
Click on it and you'll see a huge list of choices to go through. What you are looking for is at the bottom of the list. It is called "Skip Movie" and you can easily reach it by clicking the lever up to take you to the bottom of the list. Set this option to "Active".
The game will check that it wants to continue with this option. It reminds you that it will skip all scenes in the game, even if they are related to the story, so it's best to make sure you've already gone through the story once and you know what's going on in the game.
After confirming your choice, you will save the options and return to the main menu.
