To craft Netherite scrap in Minecraft, you need to:
- Explore the Nether and find ancient debris.
- Mine the ancient debris. (Requires diamond pickaxe)
- Produce Netherite Scrap by placing ancient debris in a furnace.
Ancient Debris produces Netherite Scrap at a 1: 1 ratio. For every block of Ancient Debris you find in Minecraft, you can craft a piece of Netherite Scrap.
How to make a Netherite ingot in Minecraft
Making a netherite ingot isn't as simple as combining netherite scrap in a furnace or work table. You will need an additional item to craft these new bars.
To make a Netherite ingot you will need:
- 4 gold bars
- 4 Netherite Scrap
You will need to combine these resources via the creation table. You only get one Netherite ingot for each set of these items you combine, making this the most resource-consuming type of ingot in the game so far.
Fortunately, you can only use a single Netherite ingot to upgrade and Diamond-tier gear into the new, more powerful form. All you have to do is use the Smithing Table to combine the metal with the Diamond tool and you are good to go.
