PokéFair Sync Pairs Red and Snorlax's moves in Pokémon Masters EX

The second part of the two-year anniversary rally introduces fan-favorite Red and Snorlax to Pokémon Masters EX as the featured sync pair. The Normal-type Pokémon is a support unit capable of increasing the critical hit rate and providing healing for the entire team. Additionally, Snorlax can Dynamax, making it one of the very few Pokémon in the game capable of doing so.

Red e Snorlax moveset

Red and Snorlax are endowed with three passive abilities, which are mentioned below:

  • Maximum Rain: Once Snorlax uses his Dynamax move, he applies the gradual healing effect to the user.
  • Mind 1 Team Alert: Increases the Defense stat of all Sync Paris allies by one rank if the user's HP drops to half or less.
  • Group 4 moral support: Has a 50% chance to raise allied sync pair's Sp.Def by one rank after using a move.

Red and Snorlax's moves are as follows-

  • Body Slam (2-gauge move): Deals between 50-63 damage and has a 30% chance to leave the target paralyzed.
  • All Mini Potion (2 Uses): Restores the health of all allied sync pairs by 20% of their maximum health.
  • Rock Smash (2-gauge move): Deals damage between 46-55 and has a 50% chance to lower the target's defense by one rank.
  • You and me! (2 uses): Decreases Sync Move's countdown and increases critical hit rate by two ranks of the selected ally. It also makes that ally's next attack super effective.
  • Maximum knuckle (maximum move): Deals damage between 400-480 and boosts the Attack of allied Sync Pairs by two ranks.
  • Normal impact of the heaviest sleeper (synchronized movement): Deals damage between 300-360.

At first glance, Snorlax appears to have a rather mediocre kit. However, with the ability to increase critical hit rate by two ranks, it can be a great asset to any Striker unit. While not significant, Snorlax can also provide decent healing for the entire team.

Should you roll for Red and Snorlax?

The synchronized pair of Red and Snorlax are the only support unit in the game capable of Dynamaxing. While that doesn't immediately make the unit superior, it's something worth noting. A disadvantage of the unit is its mediocre speed which affects the performance of the unit in long phases. That said, he has access to potions that are equally essential for the long phases. Players looking for versatile support that doesn't excel in any specific category but is invaluable anywhere can summon for Red and Snorlax.
