The new content of Buddy Adventure Pokémon Go has arrived. In it, you and your friend have a variety of activities to do together and can now follow you as you travel the world.
As they follow you, there are a few things you can do to increase their general affection for you. Doing so increases their friend level and they gain useful and different traits when they do. How many levels are there?
There are four different levels of friends:
- Good friend: Your friend can join you in the map view. You will also see how your friend feels on the friend profile page.
- Big friend: Your friend could help you in Pokémon encounters, making it easier for you to catch Pokémon. He can also bring you items that can help you on your Pokémon GO journey.
- Ultra Buddy: Your friend will help you explore the world around you by introducing you to interesting places nearby! Your friend will also bring you Souvenirs, which you can track on the friends profile page.
- Best friend: Become the best friend and your friend will show off a best friend ribbon to show everyone how close you are! Pokémon that you are best friends with can gain CP boost in combat as long as they are still assigned as friendly Pokémon.
You will not be able to pass these levels in just one day. You can only complete the task list once a day, so there is a limit. You will need to tap your friend icon in the lower left corner to review what activities you have left to do that day. You will have to feed them, play with them, make them full and take snapshots with them.
When you want to examine what your friend's level is, all you have to do is click on the icon at the bottom, then hit the little hearts under their name in the upper right part. From here, you can see what level the friends are at and what traits they have assigned to that level.
