Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl will release on November 19th, and to celebrate the remastered game, Pokémon Go is hosting an in-game event. You will be able to catch several Sinnoh Pokémon throughout the entire event, and many of them will appear in the wild to be caught, along with raids, rewards for field research and within 7km of eggs. There will also be a Collection Challenge that you will need to complete during the event. Here are all the Pokémon you need to catch to complete the Pokémon Collection Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl challenge in Pokémon Go.
The entire Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl event will take place November 16-21.
These are all the Pokémon you need to catch before the event ends to complete the challenge.
- Chimchar wears a Dawn hat
- Chimchar wears a Lucas hat
- Piplup wears a Dawn hat
- Piplup wears a Lucas hat
- Turtwig with the Dawn hat
- Turtwig wears Lucas' hat
The Pokémon you need to find for this challenge are all the Pokémon in the event. The three starter Pokémon of Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl wear the Lucas and Dawn hats, the main character choices you choose when starting the game.
These six Pokémon show up at different times at specific times of the event. For Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig wearing a Lucas hat for the Part 1: Brilliant Diamond event, you can find them in the wild. However, for the Part 2: Shining Pearl event, they will only be available from specific field research tasks. The same goes for Pokémon that wear Dawn's hat but in reverse. Chimchar, Piplup and Turtwig wearing Dawn's hat will only be available in field research activities during the Part 1: Brilliant Diamond event, but will spawn in the wild during the Part 2: Shining Pearl event.
It completely varies from which part of the event it is. Part 1: Brilliant Diamond will take place from November 16th to 18th and Part 2: Shining Pearl will take place from November 18th to 21st. After completing this collection challenge, you will receive 1.000 XP, 3.000 Stardust, and an encounter with Fross.
