Snorlax has traditionally been an annoying obstacle in Pokemon games and in New Pokemon Snap you will once again have to get this big, heavy Pokemon moving. However, it's not an obstacle - it's all for science. You will find Snorlax in the Secret Side Path of the Florio Nature Park, but finding it and completing its Snorlax Dash will require a little more work.
How to find Snorlax?

After unlocking Side Path (Day), select it in the Research menu and start the course. You will reach the familiar scene of a Scorbunny and a Pichu interacting, but they will run away from a Dodrio. Your NEO-ONE pod will stop during this scene, and when the three Pokemon come out to the left, turn in that direction - inside the tall grass is a split path marker to scan.

As you walk through the tall grass, you will see a sleeping Snorlax. Your pod will drive over the Snorlax and its head will be on your left.
How to complete the Snorlax Dash request

Once the Snorlax Dash request is unlocked, Snorlax will need not only to wake up, but also to work. To wake up Snorlax, start spamming your tune with the R button - more importantly, throw fruit in its mouth when it opens while snoring using the B button.

You will have a limited time before you leave Snorlax's vicinity, so aim well and launch quickly. It should take three or four pieces of fruit in your mouth to wake him up. If you succeed, you will see him awaken and stand up before leaving the area.

Go through the rest of the side path and once teleported out of it you will find yourself in the flower field at the end of the park path (day). You will be able to spot Snorlax standing far ahead in the field. To get his attention, start throwing Illuminate Orbs at him with the Y Button. Once an orb hits Snorlax, it will glow and shoot in your direction. Snap a photo of the Snorlax running for a four-star photo that meets the request.
