In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl, Oreburgh City is the first city you'll encounter with a gym challenge you can take on. Entering the city, Roark is not there. You can grab some goodies before or after you track him down. We will show you where to get a Dusk Ball, a Heal Ball, a Great Ball and a Super Potion for free.
Twilight ball
The northwesternmost building near the Oreburgh City entrance (near Oreburgh Gate) has two floors. Go to the second floor and talk to the person closest to the stairs. They will offer you a Dusk Ball. Dusk Balls typically have the same catch rates as Pokeballs. When used inside a cave or at night, however, they get a three times higher catch rate. With a few exceptions, they are the best catch ball you can use when playing at night.
Heal ball
Next to the house where you got the Dusk Ball, go to the second floor. The person at the top right of the room will give you Heal Ball if you have a Zubat in your party. Zubat can be captured in the Ore City Gate and the Ore City Mine.
Grand Ball
Go north of the Pokémon Center and pass the museum. Follow the path until you see a building surrounded by rocks. Once inside, go to the second floor and talk to the person sitting at the table. They will give you a Great Ball for free. This ball has a slightly better catch rate than Pokeballs.
Super Potion
Talk to the worker just outside the Oreburgh mine to get a super potion. Super Potions heal 60 HP to injure Pokemon, saving three Potions.
