Where to find Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Where to find Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield

While you can get a special Eevee at the start of Pokémon Sword and Shield, you must have played Let's Go Eevee to do so. For those who have never played it, there is another way to get their hands on this popular Pokémon.

You can find Eevee on Route 4 after taking the train from Wedgehurst. You will arrive in the wilderness and, after some exploration, you will make your way.

Eevee is a rather rare spawn and can also be a little hard to see. We recommend that you curl up and sneak around until you see it, so you don't end up in a fight with every Pokémon you encounter in the area. If you can't see one, go to the nearby town, then head back to Route 4 to reset all Pokémon spawns.

For evolutions, Eevee can evolve when you level it high enough. The Eevee you get from Let's Go Eevee save can't evolve, but the standard Route 4 Eevee can. Once you reach the right level, which is about 20, you need a stone to evolve it.

    • A fire stone for Flareon
    • A thunder stone for Jolteon
    • A stone of water for Vaproen
    • A stone leaf for Leafeon
    • An ice stone for Glaceon

There are more Stones in the game and Eevee will almost certainly have more evolutions too. With so many potential evolutions, you want to catch quite a few Eevees when on Route 4.

You can also find Pikachu on Route 4, so keep your eyes peeled for both of these popular Pokemon when in the area.
