The Machop combat type is back in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and features a strong starting pocket monster to propel you forward. You can also trade the cute fighter for the psychic Abra in Oreburgh City.
Machop is located on Route 207, north of Oreburgh City. To get there, go to the upper right path of the city near the Mining Museum and Pokemon Center. After following the path, you will find a small plot of land where the fighting type hovers.
You will also see many Zubats and Geodudes in the area, but don't despair. You will see a Machop at the end. Keep running away with a Pokemon that has a high speed stat, so it is more likely to run away and find a Machop faster.
Once the Machop is captured, you can return to Oreburgh City if you are looking to trade it for an Abra. At the top left of the city, you will find two taller blue buildings. Go to the second right. Inside you will find a little girl with a pink handbag. When she asks if you want to trade your Machop for an Abra, she selects "Yes" and press A. You can find the Pokemon she wants in your party or in the boxes on your PC.
