With it, a handful of challenges have become available and you will have the opportunity to earn many rewards before the event concludes. The event starts on December 23rd at 10:00 in your local time zone, and you have until the 31st to complete Pokémon Go Holidays: Friend Challenge. These are all the tasks and rewards you will receive for completing the Pokémon Go Vacation: Friendship Challenge Timed Quest.
- Send 5 Gifts to Friends - Christmas Encounter with Pikachu
- Trade 3 Pokémon with a friend - Vanillite Encounter
- Send 25 Gifts to Friends - Holiday Delibird Encounter
- Send gifts for 3 days in a row - Pokémon Encounter
- Make a new friend - 3 silver pinap berries

The overall challenge for this timed quest isn't too difficult, but some players may run into some trouble if they forget to send a gift to friends for three days in a row. So you'll want to find a way to remind yourself, like teaming up with a friend to send them a gift once a day or creating a notification on their phone.
In addition to exchanging gifts, completing the Friendship Challenge during the Winter Vacation 2021 event shouldn't be too difficult. The final reward is a Galarian Mr. Mime encounter, which you cannot have beyond these exclusive duties.
