How to catch Falinks in Pokémon Go

How to catch Falinks in Pokémon Go

Falinks is a Fighting-type Pokémon, which means it is a rather rare Pokémon to encounter in the wild. Fighting-type Pokémon always seem rare, but then you'll encounter a huge group of them in a new part of town you've never played in before. While they're not as rare as some of Pokémon Go's more elusive Pokémon, they won't show up as easily as Normal types. This guide provides some tips on how to catch multiple Falinks on your own.

There are only two ways to catch Falink in Pokémon Go. The first is to explore the world and hope to meet them. Look for areas that are more industrial than others. If there is an industrial zone nearby, take a walk beyond the gates. If you have a long stretch of road between you and the next town, try walking along it as you play to see what spawns. You will increase your chances of encountering Falink if you use incense. You can also increase your chances of encountering a Falink if you drop a lure in a Pokéstop in the right kind of area. They can spawn anywhere, but it helps if you're in their usual territory.

Falink can be encountered in raids. I'm only in three-star raids, but the chances of finding one vary from week to week. Keep your eyes peeled and you may stumble upon one sooner than you think. One place you definitely won't get a Falink is an egg. There is no chance for an egg to hatch to reveal a Falink, so focus on raiding and exploring.

The Falinks main event appearing in Ultra Unlock Part 3: Sword and Shield will be August 20-31. We recommend that you keep trying to find it in raids as the most reliable method. After that, the Falinks will be much harder to acquire after the event ends and will appear with limited opportunities.
