Stantler is a reindeer-like Pokémon Pokémon GO. The creature has large horns, and if you catch it during the holiday season, you have the option of catching one with bells wrapped around its neck, but the Pokémon is available all year round. You have a few options to make sure you increase your chances of catching the Pokémon.
The best way to catch Stantler. The best approach to catching this Pokémon is to search urban areas, parking lots, and universities. You want to look around at places where you would have randomly walked through the area. Unlike Ice, Water, Fire, or Ghost-type Pokémon, you're not looking for anything unusual. Spend some time in the middle of the cities, in the suburbs and try to wrap up some ideal conditions outside of a windy or rainy day.
Always rely on berries. When slamming a Stantler, you want to make sure you throw some berries to make it friendly to you. It always helps to reserve a few, so you can keep them happy and reduce their aggression towards you. Now that you use berries for your friends, you may not have as many as you normally have in your inventory.
Stantler's weaknesses. Stantler is a Normal-type Pokémon, so when you catch it, you'll find that it takes a great deal of damage against Fighting-type Pokémon. However, it doesn't take as much damage from Ghost-type attacks and Pokémon.
5KM Pokémon Eggs. If you have trouble locating a Stantler in the wild and wish to increase your chances, you can increase your odds by walking a 5km egg in the incubator. Stantlers are likely to hatch out of these eggs, but there is a large pool of potential Pokémon tied to it, so you don't want to cover your bets with it. These are a great way to help your chances if you are around but don't put all your chips into catching a Stantler by hatching one of these eggs.
