The fastest way to hatch eggs in Pokemon Sword and Shield
To speed up the egg hatching process, you will need a Pokemon in your party that has the Flame Body ability. Now, go to the Day Care Center in the wilderness area and make sure you have your camera settings set. To do this, hold X, go to options and then scroll down. The vertical and horizontal camera controls will need to be set to normal.
Now, this is a little hard to explain, but the video above will give you a demonstration of what you need to do. Hold both the left and right joysticks to the left, so that your character travels in a circle. This will allow your character to go through many steps, which will combine with the Flame Body skill to increase the egg hatching speed. With this method, you should be able to hatch up to five eggs in ten minutes.
If you don't want to sit there and hold the controller all the time, you can use the rubber bands to hold the joysticks in place. This is a useful technique to use if you are looking to get Shiny Pokemon using the Masuda method of egg farming.
