Will there be a Fortnite Polka Dot Man character skin added to Epic's popular battle royale? The collaboration with Fortnite Suicide Squad begins today with the arrival of Bloodsport, in the wake of the US and HBO Max release of The Suicide Squad movie this Thursday - and a datamine from today's Fortnite 3.25 patch suggests that Polka Dot Man may be added to the game, as well as possibly the rest of Task Force X.

According to Fortnite leakers who datamined the recent patch, “Polka Dot Man” appears to be encrypted in the new game files. There is also a reference to a “Task Force X” set, which is the official name of the Suicide Squad. This could be a new skin pack or just a collection of sprays, as revealed by @HYPEX on Twitter. While Polka-Dot Man is included in this spray set, the character has apparently been found separate, suggesting that he may also be full skinned.

Since Harley Quinn is already in the game, HypeX also theorizes that Peacemaker and King Shark could be coming to Fortnite as well. Both would make as much sense as Bloodsport, if not more. With Bloodsport out today, Superman out August 12, and The Suicide Squad movie out this week in the US, if the rest of the Squad arrives it will likely happen soon. The funny thing is that Deadpool and Marvel's X-Force are already in Fortnite, which means that fans may be able to fight Task Force X against X-Force very soon.
As for The Suicide Squad, it's as stable as the highest-rated DC movie ever, and there's also a post-credits scene indicating exciting things to come for DC - so it's likely there will be a Suicide Squad 3 in due course. .
