Once you reach level 48, CoD: Vanguard players can use the Dead Drop camp update. This piece of equipment is meant to save the kill streak players are in so that they can continue the streak through death as well. It seems intended for new players, as a way to get some of the highest killstreak rewards, but more capable players are taking advantage of it to continually blast the map with powerful streaks. Here's how players are doing the Call of Duty: Vanguard Dead Drop glitch.
Call of Duty: Vanguard Dead Drop Glitch: How players get infinite killstreaks
- Equip the Dead Drop Field Update.
- Enter a game and activate the Dead Drop.
- Get enough kills to reach your final kill streak.
- Die and notice how close you are to that final kill streak.
- Put the Dead Drop down again.
- Get another kill to earn the latest kill streak.
- Repeat the process to earn unlimited killstreaks.
Players are following the above steps to get infinite killstreaks using the Dead Drop camp update. At the time of writing, developer Sledgehammer Games doesn't seem to have recognized the problem. It is not yet known if there is a fix being worked on.
With the Vanguard Dead Drop glitch, players are able to get infinite dogs, local informants, Flamenaut, and other high kill streaks with ease. It needs to be fixed for other players' enjoyment.
We hope that Sledgehammer Games will be able to identify the problem and find a solution as soon as possible!
