She is a 5-star rarity character who fights with claymores and takes advantage of the Geo element. Without a doubt, this is an interesting addition to the Genshin Impact roster and is a fighter who in the right conditions can beat opponents with charged attacks. That said, getting a character of the highest rarity always requires a large Primogem investment, so reading the following will give you an idea of Itto's fighting style, combat talents, and potential builds to use.
How to get Arataki Itto
Currently the only way to get Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact is to try your luck with the banner Oni's Royale, which will be available until January 4, 2022, using the precious Intertwined Fate.
Itto isn't the only playable Genshin Impact character you can get from the aforementioned banner. Oni's Royale includes 6 five-star rarity heroes and 16 four-star rarity heroes. Luckily the odds of getting Arataki Itto and the other banner featured characters, that is Gorou, Barbara e Xiangling, will be greater. If your goal is to add Itto to your ranks it is good to know Genshin Impact's gacha mechanics related to banners, to avoid throwing away valuable resources.
The first time you receive a 5-star reward from the event banner, there is the 50% chance this is Arataki Itto. Otherwise, the chances will rise to 100% with the next reward of the same rarity. The chances of getting a 5-star rarity item are only 0,6% for each Wish, but luckily Genshin Impact has a mechanic designed to not make it too tedious to obtain characters, called "pity". Specifically, if you don't receive a five-star item within 89 attempts, the 100th will have a XNUMX% chance of being a reward of the highest rarity. This hidden counter obviously resets after obtaining a five-star character or weapon.

Normal Attack: Fight Club Legend
La combo standard by Arataki Itto consists of four attacks. The second and fourth, if they hit, give Itto 1 and 2 stacks of "Superlative Superstrength" respectively, which we will discuss in more detail shortly. These stacks do not grant stat boosts, but are used to perform loaded attacks Arataki Kesagiri, rather fast and powerful. These do not consume stamina, but rather a stack of Superlative Superstrengths each. When the last stack is consumed, Itto makes a particularly powerful final attack. Elemental Skill, Masatsu Zetsugi: Arataki Burst!
With the Elemental Skill, Arataki Itto evokes ushi, a graceful battle bull. When thrown into the field, the animal inflicts quite high Geo AoE area damage (among other things, by holding the button you can change the launch angle of the move) and gives Itto a stack of Superlative Superstrengths. Ushi then remains in the field for 6 seconds without unleashing further attacks but attracting the attention of the enemies, gaining additional stacks of Superlative Superstrength every time he is hit (maximum one every two seconds). When Ushi runs out of HP or leaves the field, Itto gains an additional Superlative Superstrength stack. In short, Ushi is not only a great source of Geo damage, but also facilitates the use of Itto's powerful Charged Attacks.
Elemental Burst, Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Devil!
Activating his Elemental Burst, Itto gains a streak of buff for 11 seconds. Itto's normal, charged, and overhead attacks are infused with the Geo element. Furthermore, the standard hits become faster and Itto's attack increases based on the defense value (already at Level 1 we are talking about 57,6% of the DEF). - Bloodline of the Crimson Oni: Arataki Kesagiri damage increases the character's DEF by 35%.
- Woodchunck Chucked: When a party member gets wood from a tree, there is a 25% chance of getting an additional unit.

- Liv. 1 - Stay a While and Listen Up: After activating Elemental Burst, Itto gains two Superlative Superstrength stacks. After one second, the character will get an additional stack every 0,5 seconds for 1,5 seconds.
- Liv. 2 - Gather 'Round, It's a Brawl!: After using the Elelemetal Burst, the reload time of the move is reduced by 1.5 seconds for each party member using the Geo element and Itto recovers 6 points of Energy. The reload time can be reduced to a maximum of 4,5 seconds and a maximum of 18 Energy points can be recovered this way.
- Liv. 3 - Horns Lowered, Coming Through: Increases the Elemental Skill level by 3 and the level cap to 15
- Liv. 4 - Jailhouse Bread and Butter: When Itto's Elemental Burst effect ends all party members gain a 20% bonus to DEF and ATK.
- Liv. 5 - 10 Years of Hanamizaka Fame: Increases the Elemental Burst level by 3 and the level cap to 15
- Liv. 6 - Arataki Itto, Present!: Itto's charged attacks gain a 70% bonus to critical damage. Additionally, when using an Arataki Kesagiri there is a 50% chance of not consuming Superlative Superstrength stacks.

The "Riftborn Regalia" are obtained by defeating the boss Golden Wolflord located in Tsurumi Island, Inazuma, from which you will also get the "Prithiva Topaz" stones. Elemental Burst does not consist of a single powerful attack, but rather is a massive power-up of the character's abilities. The Elemental Skill, on the other hand, will be the main method of doing Geo damage between bursts, thus triggering the elemental reaction of that element and creating barriers for Itto and the rest of the party. As previously mentioned, the Elemental Burst and the Bloodline Crimson Oni passive bonus offer a bonus to Itto's offensive power based on the value of the DEF stat, so keep this in mind when building a build.
In this regard, below we will explain what, in our opinion, are the best builds for Arataki Itto, with the aim of further accentuating its potential as a DPS.
As for the weapon, the Redhorn Stonethresher is the perfect claymore for Arataki Itto and tailor-made for him. This is a 5-star rarity weapon available with the current Epitome Invocation banner. Its bonus stat is Critical Damage (88,2% at level 90) and grants the user a 28% DEF bonus, which as previously mentioned is a particularly useful stat for powering Itto's attacks. Not only that, this claymore increases the damage of normal and charged attacks by 40% of the user's DEF. In short, the best of the best for Itto.
However, not everyone is so lucky or can afford to get a five-star weapon, so you can go for it as an alternative whiteblind (DEF bonus stat), a four-star claymore that you can craft from the blacksmith and that increases the user's attack and defense by 6% with each normal or charged hit, a bonus that can be stacked up to four times (every 0,5 seconds to the utmost). Also there Serpent spine (Crit rate bonus stat) is a good alternative, as it increases damage dealt by 6% and damage taken by 3% every 4 seconds, a bonus that can be stacked up to five times. You can get this weapon with the Genshin Impact Battle Pass.
As for the Artifacts, the choice falls without any doubt on four pieces of Remember or Opulent Dreams, a set obtainable in the Domain Slumbering Court on Inazuma's Seirai Island. In fact, the two-piece bonus increases the DEF by 30% (and we've already seen how important this stat is for Arataki Itto) but the four-piece bonus is also very interesting: whoever equips the set gets a stack of the "Curiosity" buff for each successful Geo attack and one every three seconds when not the active party character. Up to 4 stacks can be stacked, each of which increases DEF and Geo damage by 6%. After six seconds without getting a Curiosity buff, the stack count decreases by one. It is precisely a bonus that has excellent synergy with Itto, but which inevitably adds an additional mechanic to manage, which may take some time to get carried away.
The Husk of Opulent Dreams set is the best option for Arataki Itto, anything else sounds more like a makeshift than a viable alternative. That said, you can also evaluate a mix of two pieces of the aforementioned set and two pieces of Archaic Petra (15% more Geo damage), or four Gladiator's Finale pieces (18% bonus to ATK and 35% bonus to damage normal attacks).
