Minecraft Dungeons Pets Guide

Minecraft Dungeons Pets Guide

There is a type of NPC in Minecraft Dungeons called Pet or Companion, which you can generate to give yourself a partner for your crawling dungeon adventures. In this Minecraft Dungeons Pets guide, we will walk you through all the information currently available about Pets in the game.

Minecraft Dungeons Pets

You can spawn pets using certain artifacts. There are currently only two available: Tasty Bone and Golem Kit.

Since you can equip up to 3 artifacts at a time, you can summon multiple pets at the same time.

An important thing to note is that these animals will not stay forever. They disappear after a certain amount of time, so you have to wait until a cooldown is over to be able to spawn them again.

Below is a list of all companions currently available in Minecraft Dungeons. There is a possibility that more elements may be added in the future once the DLCs that are part of the Hero Superpass * are released.

iron golem
The Iron Golem can be summoned using the Kit Golem. Deals 18-26 damage and has a 30 second cooldown.

Wolf
The wolf can be summoned using the yummy bone. Deals 27 damage and has a 30 second cooldown.

pet chicken
The Chicken Pet is only available to players who have purchased the Hero edition of the game.

The Chicken Pet is a cosmetic item and as such cannot be spawned by equipping an artifact. Instead, you can spawn the animal by opening your inventory while it is in play and then equipping the chicken animal from the Cosmetics tab on the right.
