First, let us help you know what "Piglins" are. Minecraft Piglins are new neutral monsters arriving in the next Nether update.
Piglins are useful for bartering and trading with certain non-renewable items in your Minecraft world!
Piglins can only be found in The Nether. They most commonly spawn in the Crimson Forest biome, but sometimes rarely spawn in the Nether Wastes biome.
Piglins commonly spawn in clusters of 1-3 in the crimson forest and rarely in the lower wastes of biomes. Each piglin has a 25% chance of being a child.
What if they start attacking you!
If you have found any Piglins, they may start attacking you and if you want to prevent this from happening, you will need to equip Golden Armor.
You need at least one piece of gold equipped and the Piglins will stop attacking you immediately!
Piglins have an 8,5% chance to drop their naturally generated equipment and drop them with a random duration. Each level of Looting increases the chance by 1 percentage point (11,5% chance with Looting III).
Their naturally generated equipment includes
- Golden sword
- Any random piece of gold armor
Any collected gear or other collected items have a 100% chance of falling and falling without changing the damage that has accumulated on it.
Piglins main interest is that you can trade with them to get a random item. These items come from a predefined list, but you'll get some more often than others.
The piglins only want gold bars, which you can deliver or throw on the ground, and they will reward you with one of the items listed below. This is just a small list as there are a lot more articles
- Lower quartz
- Deformed mushrooms
- Soul sand
- Red Mushroom
- Brick of the Nether
The Piglin will stare at the Gold Bar for a short time, at this time you cannot give him another one. Once they've put the bar away, you can then give them another one and receive a new item.
