The solution is based on the US version of the game for PlayStation 3, some terms may therefore differ from the Spanish edition.

The road that leads you to the most important pay per view of the year is not just made up of matches in the ring. In fact, between one match and another you can freely explore the backstage by being guided by the mini-map: on this the mandatory steps that you have to carry out to continue in the story are marked with exclamation points. However, you can decide to go and talk to anyone you meet in the locker room, and maybe propose a fight.
The victories in the encounters earn you Superstar Points with which you can go to improve the four specific skills that characterize your wrestler in this mode: it is the Damage Resistance Level, Strike Damage Level, Grapple Damage Level and finally Momentum Gain Level. Speaking with the trainer located in the room south of the west corridor you can decide how to distribute the points in your possession. The most effective distribution depends on the characteristics of the wrestler you play, but also on your style of play. If you hope to find the right moment to score your finisher as soon as possible in the course of the match, pour more points into the Momentum Gain Level, if you have a rather fragile wrestler prefer the Damage Resistance Level. The challenges set by the path imposed on you by the game earn you more points than the random encounters in the backstage, however the latter can be faced repeatedly, waiting for the appearance of someone to challenge while you wander around the corridors, although you will not get more than 50 SP from each meeting. Each path among those that can be tackled includes six Challenge Matches, which have a higher number of SPs, however it is not indicated in any way with whom you will have to talk to unlock them: use the guides below to find out how to do it.

Al Grandaddy of Them All contro Undertaker

This particular storymode guides you through a path that will see you face nothing less than Undertaker at Wrestlemania, giving you the opportunity to break his winning streak that has always seen him come out the winner from the 18 previously played matches. You are given the opportunity to play one of your choice between R-Thruth, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison or a wrestler created by you (as long as male).

Single Match: Player vs Randy Orton
Mandatory match that you can use to familiarize yourself with the character you have chosen to control.

Single Match: Player vs Randy Orton
Challenge Randy Orton again by looking for him in the locker room to the east. Defeating him will make you pass a first Challenge Match.

Single Match: Player vs Triple H
Match one on one.

Single Match: Player vs Vladimir Kozlov
Look for Russian in the interview room, talk to him and challenge him to a one-on-one fight in the ring. Defeating him will make you pass the second Challenge Match.

Thriple Threat Match: Player vs Chris Jericho vs Vladimir Kozlov
Know that in any case there will not be a winner in this meeting, but in any case do not miss all the efforts necessary to make a good impression.

Tag Team Match: Player & Undertaker vs Chris Jericho vs Vladimir Kozlov
Normal tag team match, use the strength of the Undertaker to your advantage and let him do most of the work, so that when you enter the ring your character is fresh.

Improptu Street Fight Match: Player vs Dolph Ziggler
Go around the backstage and start with Ziggler, who is in front of the General Manager's office. Just get close to start a clash without rules between the chests of the scenography. Win this match to win another Challenge Match.

Thriple Threat Ladder Match: Player vs Chris Jericho vs Vladimir Kozlov
First match to have to be faced using a shred of strategy. Consider the fact that physical freshness is very important in this type of match and letting the other two opponents weaken while you are spectating can be crucial to achieving victory. Start by concentrating on one of the two and let the other leave the ring undisturbed and bring the ladder inside the square, placing it under the suitcase. After that you have to find ways to keep both of your opponents busy. First of all try to harm them, so that they move with difficulty. Then try to throw them off the ropes, if possible at a short distance from each other so that they get up and fight each other. Or leave them injured on the corner. When you see the right moment, place the ladder in the center of the ring and use the right stick to grab the briefcase and contract.

15 Men Battle Royale
Here everyone is for himself, between you and the win there are fourteen eliminations on the last rope. Try to stay in the center of the ring to minimize the risk of being lifted and thrown out of the ring, blame the smaller opponents and try to score only quick and easy eliminations. Often you will have the opportunity to help someone eliminate a third fighter, or take advantage of the situation and eliminate both contestants.

No DQ: Player vs Finlay
The first thing to do is to land the Irishman and steal the weapon he is holding, after which continue to hit him furiously with this or other objects (tables, chairs or stairs) that you find under the ring. Given the violence of the dispute, the confrontation will not last long.

Handicap Match: Player vs Mark Henry & Big Show
The two beasts will often use improprieties to put you in trouble: in particular, the first attempts to score a characteristic move or a finishers will be interrupted by the entry of the tag team partner from outside the ring. After this moment, continue to fight normally, but make sure to hang the partner of the wrestler you are about to pin with a clothesline on the apron ring, so that the count of three is not interrupted.

No DQ: Player vs Shawn Micheals
As well explained by the pop up that precedes the match, this time there is not only a victory required, but also a five-star match: in practice you are asked to perform both finishers, two signature moves and a move that ends HBK. through the commentators' table. Start with the latter: throw Micheals towards the commentator table outside the ring (after having previously cleaned it of objects with the A key for the 360 or the X for the PS3), then climb on the support pole of the ring and take a flight towards the commentators. Then bring the action back into the ring and accumulate momentum, perform the other four required moves and pin the opponent.

Interview area
Go to the interview area as required. Nearby is Big Show: talk to him and accept the challenge. If you want, you can also push him and challenge him right away.

Single Match: Player vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts
Normal Match: If you want to unlock The Snake among the selectable fighters, don't let it hurt you so much that it forces your fighter to keep a body part. Be a lot of quick attacks at first, then sink the shots with the hardest moves.

Table Match: Player vs Big Show
Consequence of the previously accepted challenge. Surprisingly, winning the match turns out to be very simple. This is the fourth Challeng Match.

Single Match: Player vs Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka
Simple match with a hall of famer. If you can beat him in less than three minutes you will unlock Jimmy Snuka among the selectable fighters.

Single Match: Player vs Kane
Normal match, win it to continue.

Table Match: Player vs Big Show
Consequence of the previous challenge: luckily for you, the match turns out to be surprisingly easy.

Backstage Brawl: Player vs Batistaw
Find Batista in the east locker room and talk to him to start a fight. This is the fifth Challenge Match.

Backstage Brawl: Player vs Paul Bearer
Another brawl in the backstage, which however must be resolved within 90 seconds. The nearby TV is right for you. Grab the undertaker's manager and throw him repeatedly at the appliance, after five or six times run a couple of finishers on him and pin him. Pay attention that your fighter must have a finisher that can be executed without the use of ropes or stakes, otherwise you will not be able to overcome this juncture, so in case edit your created character. After this match remember to save, because if you lose the next one the storyline will end and you will have to start over.

Last Man Standing: Player vs The Rock
If you have passed all Challenge Matches up to this point, you now have the opportunity to participate in a special match at Wrestlemania, before the showdown with Undertaker. Go to the green room and talk to The Rock to be immediately attacked: the rules are simple, there is no disqualification or count out. Beat up the opponent, possibly applying more finishers and smashing him onto the commentator table, then let the referee count to ten.

Main Event: Player vs Undertaker
The match is a normal one-on-one, but the gravedigger is a tough nut to crack, he is skilled at reversing moves and is able to accumulate momentum very efficiently. You will need to be at his level to come out as a winner, timely countering and reversing disadvantage situations in your favor (in more technical jargon, you often use counter and reverse). If you are in trouble, take refuge outside the ring, where not only can you not be pinned, but you can also crash the Undertaker into the barriers and weaken it.
Winning the match will unlock Paul Bear, otherwise you will still complete the story by getting the achievement / trophy.

Road to Wrestlemania: Christian

Single Match: Christian vs Tyson Kidd
Three Minute Limit: Get familiar with Christian's move set and get used to a slow build-up momentum.

Extreme Rules Single Match: Christian vs William Regal
Get to know your character and use the many weapons available to get rid of Regal quickly.

Handicap Match: Christian vs Tyson Kidd & DH Smith
You have to KO both of them. Start with the significantly weaker Kidd, using the amendment to weaken him, then finish him off with the Killswtch. Then switch to DH by repeating the same dynamic. Then alternate between the two until they no longer stand up.

Peep Show
After the cut-scene, before talking to Tiffany, go to the locker room to the north and talk to Regal to accept her challenge, then go back to Tiffany.

6-Man Battle Royal
Keep your momentum high, try to stay in the center of the ring as much as possible, and opt for quick eliminations. However, a defeat in this match allows you to continue the story anyway.

15-minute Iron man Match: Christian vs William Regal
As a consequence of the challenge above, you basically face it like a normal single match. This is the first Challenge Match.

Backstage Brawl: Christian vs William Regal
Find Regal in the east area and talk to him to start a backstage fight. Victory unlocks a costume for Christian.

Single Match: Christian vs ???
Your opponent depends on the outcome of the Battle Royal: if you have won you face one of the five other opponents of your choice, if you have lost you face the winner. Before the victory you will be hit by a chair while the referee is distracted.

Parking Lot: sfida a Kane
Go talk to Kane in the parking lot and challenge him.

Single Match: Christian vs Dolph Ziggler Normal one-on-one match.

Inferno Match: Christian vs Kane
Second Challenge Match: Weaken Kane, then drag him into the flames.

Tag Team Match: Christian & Edge vs Knox & R-Thruth
Normal couple match.

Tag Team Match: Christian & Edge vs Kane & Undertaker
Normal couple match.

Challenge to CM Punk
Talk to Punk who is north of the training room.

Single Match: Christian vs Chris Jericho
The presence of the managers at ringside is crucial, as Jericho's will intervene and give you the victory. After that you have two minutes to beat them both before a cut-scene.

Third Challenge Match, consequence of the first challenge.

Backstage
Talk to Edge first, in the south locker room, then to Vince McMahon in the GM's office, then look for the three required items in the GM's office, green room and parking lot.

6-Man Ladder Match: Money in the Bank
While it may seem otherwise, this match can be easier than a three-man ladder match. The distractions are greater and you are more likely to climb the ladder undisturbed, however you have to knock out more opponents. Take your time to weaken and knock out opponents. Think about climbing the ladder only when recovery times start to be very long. Either way, you can avoid wasting time taking the ladder into the ring as some of the other contenders will take care of it while you are busy hitting. Throwing opponents out of the ring is a great way to buy time.

Backstage Brawl: Christian vs Big Show
This segment only takes place if you have collected the items mentioned above. Talk to Edge in the locker room to the north, then go to the east room where you find Big Show. Defeat him to unlock another costume for Edge.

Challenge to Jericho
Find and challenge Jericho in the training room.

Tag Team Match: Christian & Edge vs Di Biase & Cody Rhodes
Normal couple match. Towards the end however Edge will reject the tag, leaving you alone against the two. Go for the worst opponent and remember to hang the other one on the apron ring with a clothesline before hitting the Killswitch. If you manage to win before Christian holds his side, you will also fulfill an optional request.

Tables Match: Christian vs Chris Jericho
Fourth Challenge match, consequence of the previous challenge.
After this match you will receive a call from the GM asking you to choose which champion to challenge to WM thanks to Money in the Bank. So save so that you can start from this point when you want to follow the second path. The choice is made through your mobile phone. Know that if you choose HBK and at the same time also want to face the two remaining Challenge matches, it is better to postpone your choice until after the match with the Legacy to Superstar. You can also stall and choose no one.

Head to the north locker room to start this backstage fight. If you go north instead the match will start as a 1 vs 2, but soon MVP will come to your rescue. Use the TV to quickly stun the two opponents.

Handicap 2 vs 3 Match: John Cena & MVP vs Orton & Legacy
In addition to the numerical disadvantage, the match also presents you with another challenge, namely hitting Orton with both Cena and MVP finishers. So focus initially on the Legend Killer and if he refuses to stay long enough in the ring, exit the square and pull him down from the apron. Once this is done you will have to think about closing the match, a feat not impossible in itself, but made difficult by the interference of the opponents with a numerical advantage. After having knocked out the opponent with a finsher, wait for your partner to enter the ring and together with him you knock down whoever will try to interfere, then pin the opponent hoping that your tag partner will protect you. Alternatively you can try to close the match with Cena's STF which usually forces the opponent to give up rather quickly.

Backstage Brawl: John Cena vs Sheamus
Find Sheamus in the locker room to the east and talk to him to cause the fight to start. It is the first Challenge Match.

Single Match: John Cena vs opponent of your choice
Talk to Orton and the GM, in any order that suits you best, and choose an opponent for a single match.

Backstage Brawl Handicap Match: John Cena vs Jackson & Kozlov
Match whose development depends on some variables. If you answer yes to the GM you face the two in the parking lot, if you answer no you face them in the GM office. In the latter case, if you lose or tie you will have to face the two again (which is probable, given the 4-minute limit). In any case, the result does not influence the continuation of the story.

Challenge to MVP
Look for MVP in front of the north locker room and challenge him.

Tag Team Match: John Cena & Mickie James vs Ziggler & Maryse
Close the meeting with the STF on Ziggler and you shouldn't have any problems.

Tag Team Match: John Cena & MVP vs R-Thruth & Knox
Consequence of the MVP challenge: the match gives you a chance for the duo title later in the game. This is the second Challenge Match.

Single Match: John Cena vs Orton
Whether you decide to hit Orton during the cut-scene, or you remain impassive, you will have to face The Viper, but your encounter will be interrupted before the end.

Tag Team Tables Elimination Match: John Cena & MVP vs Jackson & Kozlov
The stipulation of the match requires that you throw both opponents across a table to win. Take advantage of MVP, which is not bad as a partner, and stay close to him in case he is in trouble. Your opponents are strong and resilient, so don't let them attack your partner.

Tag Team Match: John Cena & MVP vs R-Thruth & Knox
Here is your chance at the couple title. Considering the caliber of the opponents you shouldn't have any difficulty in winning. This is the third Challenge Match, which unlocks an MVP outfit.

Handicap Backstage Brawl Match: John Cena vs Legacy
Find the duo in the locker room to the east and talk to them twice to start the fight. Use throws and Irish whips to put one opponent out of the game at a time, avoiding being encircled. When you have weakened them enough, knock them out thanks to the fisherman suplex by passing the fourth Challenge Match.

Single Match: John Cena vs Mark Henry
Normal one-on-one encounter, no surprises.

Last Man Standing Match: John Cena vs MVP
Go through the match like a normal match - when MVP is in trouble, go for a while to make sure he stays down to the ten count. At the end of the match save as from here on the story is divided into two distinct branches.

Re-Match: John Cena vs MVP
The match begins as a normal one-on-one match, but when you or the opponent is one step away from victory there will be an interruption that will lead to the change of stipulation (do not get disqualified first, otherwise you will have to repeat the match. it continues along two different paths depending on whether you win or lose (the only substantial difference, however, are the objects that are unlocked).

Road to Wrestlemania: John Cena (re-match winner)

A call from Teddy Long
After the call from your GM, wander around the backstage for a while waiting to receive another one from Teddy Long: if you start the match before the second call you will not be able to face the following Challenge Matches.

No DQ Match: John Cena vs Kofi Kingston
Take advantage of the weapons and demolish Kingston, then keep the Legacy in base that will try to make you lose the match: spread them out of the ring then return to pin the Jamaican.

Challenge to Legacy
After the promo, talk to Santino first in the locker room to the east, then to the Legacy in the north.

Cage Match: John Cena vs Evan Bourne
You face the match like a normal one-on-one match, then after the finisher you rage on the opponent and, when he is lying exhausted, climb the cage and exit.

Tag Team Match: John Cena & Santino Marella vs Legacy

Santino is quite weak, and this represents the greatest difficulty of the match. Cena on the other hand is strong enough to look after the two sons of art alone. Win to pass the fifth Challenge Match and unlock a new attire for DiBiase.

Tag Team Match: John Cena & MVP vs Sheamus & Big Show
This match is complicated by the presence of additional rules valid only for your team: to win you will need a count of five, while you cannot stop the count against you by touching the strings. However, you are in control of Cena, and his STF gets you out of the way even in this situation. Apply it to Sheamus, so that Big Show's slowness prevents the giant from getting to the ring in time.

Handicap Match: John Cena vs Vince McMahon, McIntyre & Sheamus
Sixth and last Challenge Match which kicks off after the meeting with Vince in the green room.
Lure the two wrestlers onto the entrance mat and take them down, then return to the ring before being counted out and knock out Vince. Repeat this tactic until you can pin or subdue the chairman. Remember that you are not allowed to use weapons or interrupt the count by touching the strings.

Lumberjack Triple Threat Match: John Cena vs MVP vs Orton
Let Orton and MVP weaken each other, then throw MVP out of the ring where he will be held by Kozlov and the Legacy. This will give you time to pin Orton without interference.

Road to Wrestlemania: John Cena (re-match loser)

Tag Team Match: John Cena & Santino Marella vs Sheamus & Big Show
This match is complicated by the presence of additional rules valid only for your team: to win you will need a count of five, while you cannot stop the count against you by touching the strings. However, you are in control of Cena, and his STF gets you out of the way even in this situation. Apply it to Sheamus, so that Big Show's slowness prevents the giant from getting to the ring in time.

Challenge to Legacy
After the promo, talk to Santino in the parking lot first, then to the Legacy in the central corridor.

Parking Lot Brawl: Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger
Hit the opponent with a couple of kicks and the match will be over.

Call to Evan Bourne
If you want to help Bourne, give him a call.

Single Match: Rey Mysterio vs Shelton Benjamin
Match without surprises.

Partner search
Talk to Edge in the locker room to the north, then to jerciho in the parking lot to arrange a challenge. Then choose if you call Evan Bourne or Jack Wagger to partner with Cryme Tyme.

Tag Team Match: Rey Mysterio & ??? vs Cryme Tyme
Normal match in pairs.

Submission Match: Rey Mysterio vs Chris Jerciho Consequence of the challenge launched earlier. You face the match as if it were a normal single match, debilitating the opponent. Focus on a specific part of the body with strikes and apply submission to that, but only after you have scored at least one finisher. It is the first Challenge Match.

The Christian & Edge Challenge
Go to the training room for a cutscene, then to the locker room to the south and talk to Christian & Edge, then go to the green room to collect the required costume and return to the two to agree on a challenge.

Triple Thret Match: Rey Mysteryo vs JTD vs Knox
Remember that there is no disqualification in this type of match, so use weapons if you want.

3 vs 3 Match: Rey Mysterio, Christian & Edge vs Orton & Legacy
Since 619 is a move that takes a long time to execute, opt for Edge's Spear or Christian's Killswitch as the finishing move, so that opponents have less time to interfere. This is the second Challenge Match.

Royal Roumble
Here everyone is for himself, between you and victory there are twenty-nine other men. Try to stay in the center of the ring to minimize the risk of being lifted and thrown out of the ring, blame the smaller opponents and try to score only quick and easy eliminations. Often you will have the opportunity to help someone eliminate a third fighter, or take advantage of the situation and eliminate both contestants.

The story here predicts your defeat no matter what you do.

Sfida a R-Thruth & Knox
Talk to the two in front of the training room to agree on a challenge.

Backstage Brawl Match: Rey Mysterio vs Evan Bourne
Keep throwing Bourne at the TV, then run the finisher as soon as possible.

Single Match: Rey Mysterio vs R-Thruth
Terzo Challenge Match.

2 on 1 Backstage Brawl Match: Rey Mysterio & Jack Swagger vs Edge
The numerical advantage for once is on your side. Save at the end of this match because depending on the decision you make in the next match, the story will unfold in two parts.

Fatal Four Way Ladder Match
Take your time to weaken and knock out opponents. Think about climbing the ladder only when recovery times start to be decidedly long. Either way, you can avoid wasting time taking the ladder into the ring as some of the other contenders will take care of it while you are busy hitting. Throwing opponents out of the ring is a great way to buy time.
At the end of the match the storyline will take a turn depending on the answer you give to Swagger.

Challenge to Hurricane
Find and challenge Hurricane in the locker room to the south.

Single Match: Jack Swagger vs Evan Bourne
Step in with Rey and grab the US Champion's belt near the commentator table, then attack while the referee is distracted. If you are seen by the referee you will have to repeat this match.

Cage Match: Rey Mysterio vs Hurricane
Fifth Challenge Match. You face the match like a normal one-on-one match, then after the finisher you rage on the opponent and, when he is lying exhausted, climb the cage and exit.

Single Match: Rey Mysterio vs Evan Bourne
Bourne here is invincible, whatever you do you won't be able to pin him. After a while, Swagger will come to give you a hand.

2 on 1 Backstage Brawl: Rey Mysterio vs Cryme Tyme
Keep throwing your opponents at the TV, then run the finisher (or a DDT) as soon as possible to KO the Cryme Tyme.

Backstage Brawl: Rey Mysterio vs Matt Hardy
Keep throwing Hardy at the TV, then run the finisher (or DDT) as soon as possible to KO him.

Elimination Chamber
